I learnt to drive twice when I was a teen, and gave up both times for various reasons. Time went on and in my 30s I plucked up the courage to start all over again. I was very nervous/anxious about the whole thing, meeting the instructor and what he'd be like, if I was going to pick things up quick, if he would make me feel comfortable etc.
When I first started my lessons with James it quickly became obvious that we would get on well. He was patient, took time to teach me things and encouraged me with things knowing full well I could do them but my anxiety was taking over. Every lesson I felt comfortable, sometimes I just needed the reasurrance with things again, and James did exactly that. Every lesson was fun, from the silly mistakes I'd make putting my foot on the brake once to pull away instead of the accelerator to the funny little stories we would tell each other. I'm so glad I came across James and kept up with it this time, don't think I'd have done it without his help and patience.
Highly recommend James as your driving instructor if you need patience, suffer with anxiety and just generally want an easy going, laid back and fun approach to learning! :)

James was by far the best instructor I had he gave me confidence when I didn’t have it he has got a nice style of teaching you how to drive nice and simple passed first time with James 100% would recommend

I asked on Facebook for recommendations for driving instructors for my son. A good friend suggested James. He was brilliant. My son managed to pass after 2 months with a few extra lessons a week. Best decision we ever made. Put my son at ease and helped him gain the confidence he needed to pass.

James was absolutely amazing with me . After a few lessons I knew a lot more than what I started with . James is a very polite and sophistacted gentleman in what he does and he will definitely lead you to a successful outcome in driving . He really is amazing . Thanks a lot James 🫶🏽

James was an amazing instructor couldn’t fault him I had just under 8 weeks with him before my test and he was so helpful and reassuring helped me in the areas I struggled with and didn’t put to much pressure on to me he got me test ready in such a short amount of time and ended up passing with only 4 minors nearly been a year since I passed my test highly recommended him ☺️

I spent two years taking lessons with a previous instructor and failed my test twice. After I switched to James, everything clicked, and i passed on my first attempt with him.
James is a fantastic instructor who is patient, professional, and easy to talk to. He immediately spotted the bad habits I had picked up and fixed my weak areas, and gave me the practical confidence I needed to get my license. He keeps things simple, calm, and focused on real driving skills.
If you're looking for a solid, reliable instructor who gets results without any stress, take lessons with James.
10/10 highly recommend.
